Applications must be received at least 4 weeks prior to scheduled meetings to enable full support by the Medicines Optimisation team around review of evidence, clinical effectiveness and resource impact.

Respiratory and SmokingThese documents provide guidance to GPs on how to deal with those patients post COVID-19 infection who have ongoing symptoms after 4 weeks. They provide suggestions around alternative diagnoses and possible investigations and referral routes in the period 4-12 weeks as well as the referral route when post Covid-19 syndrome is likely from week 12. They are not exhaustive and GPs will need to use their clinical judgement at each stage.
The guidance is for adults aged 16 and older. For children refer to a paediatric general medical clinic.
